The New Venue will be the Pavillion at Cal Expo in Sacramento, California!

Pavillion at Cal Expo

What a wonderful venue for this new west coast show.  The show grounds are adjacent to the racetrack.  The harness racing will be occurring during the evenings of the show, including during the Banquet. The show will draw significant numbers of the general public so bring your business cards to hand out. 

RACING INFORMATION AT CAL EXPO

Catered banquet will be provided on Saturday Night at the Cal Expo Turf Club at the Racetrack.

Join the festivities at the Racetrack on Saturday night! Come enjoy a marvelous banquet dinner with a no host full bar available, soda and water and the opportunity to spend LOTS of time to visit with your fellow Alpaca Breeders while enjoying the harness racing! This is a great opportunity for fellowship and conversations.  Dinner tickets will be on sale with your show registration.

Open Hospitality at the Barn!

Here is an opportunity to walk around and meet your fellow exhibitors and the vendors. There will be several ranches and vendors offering ‘hospitality’ thru out the alpaca show grounds. The show hospitality table will be open with coffee, water, and juice Saturday and Sunday. And STILL plenty of time for you to head off and enjoy a lovely dinner dining out on Thursday and Friday nights! There are numerous resturants surrounding the Cal Expo Fairgrounds.

Final deadline for all show alpaca registration is March 21st, 2025. Early bird registration closes on March 10th, 2025.  Stall purchase for Calpaca Members has no early bird deadline, final deadline for Calpaca members is March 21, 2025.  Early bird deadline for non-calpaca members is March 10, 2025.  Vender space purchase dealine is March 21, 2025.  

Calpaca Member stall fees are $160.  Non-Calpaca members Stall fee is $160 in the early bird period.  After March 10th the non-calpaca member stall fee goes to $175.

Show Check-in on Thursday April 3rd, 2025

Enter the Fairgrounds at Gate 12Here is a link to a map of the Cal Expo fairgrounds! The building's name for the show is the "Pavillion". The road into gate 12 is Hurley Way. Once into gate 12, follow the road that travels along the racetrack.  The Pavillion is just past the racetrack.  You will arrive on the back side of the building and be directed from there.  It is recommended you call or text when getting near for any further instructions, number will be provided.

Silent Auction:

ALSO, please consider donating an item to the Silent Auction this year! It need not be Alpaca related, but something that others would like to bid on! Jewelry, Art, Travel, Clothing, Farm Items, items that you have found indispensable in your alpaca business! We would really like to see all Calpaca members attending donate something. Vendors

The vendor booth fee is $100 for a each space, large space will require multiples of the spaces. Vendor space space requests should register at the registration page  but first contact Sabina Karr at (916) 402 4898. Send in your logo for display on the show website to Sheila Scroggins at [email protected] and also to Sabina Karr at [email protected]  for show materials.

We will have a dedicated vendor area for all vendors, we will provide signage to make sure everyone knows where to go to shop and we will make announcements throughout the show encouraging everyone to go shop! We are expecting a large contingent of the public to attend. All vendors MUST provide a CA Resale License Permit number (list this permit number on the Vendor Registration form).
