In California's tradition as a pioneer of progress, Calpaca was the first—and is the oldest—regional alpaca association in the Northern Hemisphere and has been a leader in the American alpaca industry since 1989.

Calpaca represents alpaca owners, breeders, and enthusiasts. We promote the well-being of alpacas and education of the public about alpacas, alpaca fiber, and alpaca products. We support each other through shared information and experiences, and host meetings, speakers and shows for the benefit of members and the public. We invite you to join us and become part of a supportive network of caring and helpful alpaca owners.

REGISTER FOR THE SHOW HERE   April 4-6, 2025 - Wild West Alpaca Show & Golden West Alpaca Expo. CALPACA Proudly presents a double show weekend. Two Halter Shows and one Walking Fleece Show all located within the Cal Expo Pavillion. Halter judges will be Wade Gease and Ken Hibbits, walking fleece judge will be Franke Berman. California Exposition Center, 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, CA.
